His status for this weekend's game is up in the air!
asiata worth a pickup?
Depends on your depth… I won't and I've got Peterson.
Update - Peterson smacked his kid in the butt with a flexible tree branch as a form of punishment.
Adrian Peterson is OUT Week 2
Deadspin has the best write up on what actually went down with AP whacking his kid that I've been able to find.
That is a great summary of the case!
Asiata for a spot start??? New England got gashed on the ground last week vs Miami
A lot of owners are gabbing him up... don't expect huge production but he is a legitimate goal-line threat. Will the Vikes be able to move the ball without AP?
I think Cassel and that offense may be in trouble.
time for the cordarrelle show. I definitely see the vikings sucking but Patterson is going to HAVE to be getting more touches in general now. I'm feeling optimistic about his start this weekend. especially after Wallace had success on Revis, maybe he's losing a step. how do you guys feel about impact on cordarrelle? thoughts @MattyN? hell maybe they line him up in the back field a bit. still have Jennings and rudolph to throw to also.
I've read the rookie RB is pretty athletic and quick just too raw. might be worth a weak bench spot until it's known how long ap is out. I have asiata for now, ya never know with these backups but I like seeing if they can step up if I have the room.
Already posted this in another thread but I think Bill Belichick was in a dark this week looking at those new fangled "jet sweeps" and licking his lips. And now AP is gone.
We'll see what ole' Norv comes up with. At least he doesn't have to manage the clock.
(I am starting Patterson in my 10 teamer).
I think Rudolph will be the main beneficiary!
Adrian Peterson on exempt list must remain away from team activities while under legal review.
